phase 3:building on a concept

[track]system: making connections on a larger scale

My concept for phase three is built upon the concept that my group shared for phase two. In our previous work we showed how our project related to a railway and the connections that it made. I focused on this same idea of connections, with more focus on the track itself. I will show such by using large themes, interconnected furniture, and a track system that can serve to unify the space and create a whole. Instead of using small scale designs I want to think bigger. Connections will not only be made physically, but also theoretically. In her space, my client makes connections through her books, her paintings, and with her community, and her new space will also connect her to where she lives.
