Twig Project

This project was all about making a place for 12 twigs, and we were only aloud to use paper and one binding agent. For my binding agent I used hemp string to hold the two sides together. The precedent for my project was the Golden Gate Bridge in San Fransisco because I liked the suspension element that it has. On my first trials I tried to hold up my twigs with the string and seperate them all but I felt that the box mimiced the bridge too much. I then decided to make it more of a mirrored box shape, and still keep the accordian element cause it shows that suspension that i liked in the bridge. I liked the way that the two accordians created a cool shape inbetween that had a zig-zag look.
